The Angloco Aviation Firefighting Training Vehicle 7500 is a full-size ARFF training appliance on a Volvo FM340 6x2 rear-steer rigid chassis with a 340 bhp / 250 kW diesel engine at 26,000 kg GVW. It carries 6,500 litres of water in a stainless steel tank and 1,000 litres of foam concentrate, also stainless steel, with a centrifugal pump nominally rated at 2,800 litre/min at 12 bar. Discharge options cover the roof monitor, bumper turret, two restricted outlets, and two unrestricted outlets, with an automatic pump output pressure governor and overheating protection to protect the drivetrain during extended training exercises.

The vehicle's defining characteristic is its operator platform: the crew cab includes a staircase to a large roof monitor operator's recessed platform, providing SCBA bracket provision for four crew alongside an ergonomic working position for training monitor operators — a layout specifically designed so that trainee crews can practice roof monitor technique under supervision without modifying the cab configuration. The manually operated aspirating roof monitor, rated at 2,000 litre/min at 12 bar with jet/spray deflector, is optimised for foam blanket application training. The cab-controlled bumper turret (1,200 litre/min at 10 bar) allows concurrent training on vehicle-mounted agent delivery.

For airport fire service training officers this vehicle addresses the core challenge of maintaining ARFF proficiency on realistic equipment without committing primary response tenders to training cycles. The 6x2 rear-steer configuration is well-suited to airport training grounds with tight turning circles around fixed burn pits and fuel spray rigs. The large agent capacity means extended training burns without resupply interruptions. The vehicle is produced by Angloco, a manufacturer with over 50 years' experience and deliveries to more than 70 countries, which supports training authority approvals in multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
