JetFoam 6% (ICAO-C)
A 6% fluorine-free film-forming foam concentrate achieving ICAO Level C certification — ideal for airports transitioning from 6% AFFF to F3 while benefiting from reduced vehicle water requirements.
JetFoam 6% (ICAO-C) completes the upper end of the JetFoam ICAO-C range, offering ICAO Level C certified fire performance at a 6% proportioning rate for airports whose ARFF systems are optimised for 6% induction. It is the fluorine-free replacement path for facilities that have standardised on 6% AFFF under ICAO Level C approval and want to convert to an F3 concentrate without requalifying their proportioner equipment.
ICOA Level C certification translates operationally to smaller required water carry on ARFF vehicles compared with Level B compliant fleets — the Level C test fires a 7.32 m² heptane fire at 1.75 L/min/m², roughly 30% lower application rate than Level B. For airports operating large fleets of Category 9–10 vehicles (handling A380, B777-9, A350 operations), lower mandated water carry reduces vehicle unladen weight, potentially extending platform service life and reducing maintenance intervals.
JetFoam 6% (ICAO-C) exhibits the same Newtonian flow profile as the rest of the JetFoam family: low viscosity proportioning behaviour, film-forming action over Jet-A and Jet-A1 surfaces, and a cohesive foam blanket with expansion ratio of at least 7:1 and drainage stability of at least 3 minutes. It is fully biodegradable, contains no fluorosurfactants, PFOA, or PFOS, and carries EN1568:2018 Part 3 certification. Shelf life is at least 10 years under proper storage conditions.

Use cases.
- ›ARFF crash tenders fixed at 6% induction needing ICAO Level C certified F3 substitute for AFFF
- ›Airports operating under reduced ARFF vehicle water-carry allowances permitted by Level C classification
- ›Jet-A and Jet-A1 fuel spill vapour suppression on aprons and fuel storage areas
- ›F3 procurement programmes at airports with regulatory PFAS-phase-out requirements
- ›Regional and secondary airports seeking cost-effective fluorine-free ICAO compliance
