The seat achieves a documented target weight of approximately 10 kg per passenger through a reduced-component architecture that eliminates sub-assemblies without degrading structural performance under FAR/CS 25.562 dynamic load requirements. The slimline profile optimises interior volume at tighter pitches, while the modular design allows the same airframe installation to carry short-range rows forward and long-range rows aft — or a dedicated all-long-range configuration for transatlantic routes operated on the same aircraft type. For procurement teams, the MYA Long Range occupies the space between a pure low-cost slimline and a traditional full-service seat: it offers Italian design quality, a four-way adjustable headrest, USB and optional wireless charging provisions, IFE monitor compatibility, and a fully customisable trim and finish programme, without the certification or lead-time overhead of a bespoke product.
