CT6-E Electric Cargo Tractor

The CT6-E takes everything that made the T135 the reference in electric baggage tractors and scales it into the heavy cargo class: Charlatte Manutention's own framing is 'cargo muscle, proven toughness'. It is the current flagship of the electric cargo-tractor range, built for towing heavy loads — cargo, freight and industrial trains — in the most demanding environments, on a high-strength monobloc chassis with axles specified for intensive duty.
Published specification: 50-tonne towing capacity, 3,200 daN hook strength, 80 V battery architecture with 630-1,050 Ah capacity options, and a 30 km/h maximum speed. Footprint is 3,060 mm long by 1,565 mm wide by 2,155 mm high in the base configuration; the OEM offers two chassis lengths and several battery technologies, making the platform adaptable and scalable to the operation rather than a single fixed build. The driver's station is explicitly engineered against fatigue — improved suspension, a choice of seats and pedal kinematics designed for lasting comfort — and the architecture is simplified for streamlined maintenance: fewer interventions, rapid diagnosis, maximum availability, with parts commonality across the Charlatte range.
For GCC cargo hubs, the CT6-E addresses the heavy end of apron electrification: the long dolly trains and high-mass tows between freight mega-terminals and remote stands where diesel cargo tractors have traditionally been the default because electric drawbar capability topped out too low. A 50-tonne-capacity electric tractor with up to 1,050 Ah of 80 V battery changes that calculation, and the multi-chemistry battery offer lets an operator match cell technology to shift pattern and charging infrastructure. As with all Charlatte models, chemistry selection, charger pairing and hot-climate configuration for 50 °C apron duty are specified at quotation; support runs through Charlatte's factory network in France, the US and UK with 24-hour parts dispatch.
