Dar Al-Handasah delivered engineering consultancy on the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport terminal in Madinah, the first PPP airport in Saudi Arabia. The new terminal opened 2015 at 8 mppa initial capacity, scaling to 18 mppa, and is recognised for its pilgrim-focused planning and shaded prayer areas.
