Self-Propelled Electric Conveyor Belt Loader CEA-14
Zero-emission electric belt loader for baggage and cargo handling on all commercial aircraft, available in 6 m and 8 m boom configurations.
The CEA-14 is the electric variant of EINSA's CDA-14 belt loader platform — functionally equivalent to its diesel counterpart but drawing entirely from onboard batteries and latest-generation CA-technology drive system rather than a combustion engine. It is designed for loading and unloading passenger baggage, mail, and small freight from all commercial aircraft currently in service, and carries EN-12312-3 certification, the European standard governing baggage and freight conveyor loaders. The fully electric drivetrain eliminates direct emissions at the aircraft stand — a procurement requirement at an increasing number of airports, particularly those with internal-combustion-engine phase-out timelines or airside air-quality restrictions. Remote apron areas and enclosed facilities such as cargo terminals and maintenance hangars benefit most from the absence of diesel exhaust. The latest-generation CA technology managing transmission and auxiliary services replaces conventional hydraulic circuits with electrically actuated systems, reducing fluid maintenance requirements and leak risk. Boom length is available in either 8 m or 6 m versions; the 8 m boom reaches the aft hold of wide-body aircraft from a standard stand position while the 6 m variant suits narrow-body operations and more constrained apron geometries. Telescopic folding handrails run the full length of the working platform. Configuration options include open or closed cabin with optional heating, a remote control box for operator positioning away from the main cab, and height-tracking sensors that maintain the belt tip at a constant distance from the aircraft hold sill as the aircraft settles under fuel load — reducing the manual correction cycles that slow turn times.

Use cases.
- ›Baggage loading and unloading at airports with airside zero-emission zones or ICE phase-out policies
- ›Enclosed cargo terminal operations where diesel exhaust is operationally or regulatorily restricted
- ›Ground-handling fleets electrifying GSE in line with airline sustainability commitments
- ›Narrow-body turnaround baggage handling (6 m boom) in constrained apron configurations
- ›Wide-body belly baggage at remote stands requiring an 8 m reach to the aft hold
