FlightSafety International runs one of the world's largest civil helicopter training estates, with factory-authorised programmes for Bell (206, 407, 412, 429, 505, 525), Sikorsky (S-76, S-92, S-70 / Black Hawk), Leonardo (AW109, AW139, AW169, AW189) and Airbus Helicopters (H125, H135, H145, H155, H160, H175, H225). Initial type-rating, recurrent, NVG, offshore, EMS, search-and-rescue and law-enforcement mission training is delivered on Level D full-flight simulators with matched visual databases at Learning Centers in Tucson (Bell), West Palm Beach (Sikorsky), Lafayette and Stavanger (Airbus / Leonardo offshore). Berkshire Hathaway-owned, FAA Part 142 / EASA ATO dual-approved, and recognised by GCAA UAE, GACA Saudi Arabia and most ICAO contracting states. The MENA installed-base of helicopter operators — police, oil-and-gas, royal-flight and HEMS — relies on FSI for type currency outside captive in-house programmes.
