Helicopter Pilot Training (Bell, Sikorsky, Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters)
Factory-authorised rotorcraft type-rating and recurrent training on Bell, Sikorsky, Leonardo and Airbus Helicopters platforms.
FlightSafety International runs one of the world's largest civil helicopter training estates, with programmes spanning Bell, Sikorsky (S-76, S-92 — factory-authorised training provider since 1983), Leonardo (AW139) and Airbus Helicopters (EC135, EC145) platforms. Initial type-rating, recurrent, NVG, offshore, EMS, search-and-rescue and law-enforcement mission training is delivered on Level D full-flight simulators with matched visual databases at Learning Centers including Lafayette (Leonardo AW139), West Palm Beach and Stavanger (Sikorsky) and Denver (Airbus Helicopters EC135 / EC145). Berkshire Hathaway-owned, FAA Part 142 / EASA ATO dual-approved, and recognised by most ICAO contracting states. The MENA installed-base of helicopter operators — police, oil-and-gas, royal-flight and HEMS — relies on FSI for type currency outside captive in-house programmes.
