The LC028 is the only chair in HEWEI's published airport range built around a polypropylene (PP) shell seat rather than moulded polyurethane foam. This is a fundamentally different product type: the PP shell is injection-moulded from a polymer that is lighter than PU, recyclable, and can be stacked — making the LC028 the natural choice for any waiting area where operators need to move, reconfigure, or store chairs regularly. The integrated handle on the seat shell is the defining practical feature. Terminal staff can pick up and reposition a single chair without bending to grip a leg; in gate areas that double as event or prayer spaces, in over-flow waiting zones that open and close by flight schedule, or in small-terminal environments where the furniture programme is genuinely reconfigured daily, the handle converts a minor inconvenience into a realistic operational task. The LC028 is positioned below the PU beam seats in terms of passenger comfort for extended dwell but above basic steel gang-chairs in terms of appearance and cleanability. The smooth PP shell cleans rapidly with standard disinfectants and does not degrade under repeated wet-wipe protocols. Metal frame legs provide structural stability. Available in standard airport colour options including grey, black, blue, and orange.
