The LC138 is positioned in the middle of HEWEI's airport waiting chair range: an aluminium-framed beam seat with integrated PU cushioning, designed for busy international and domestic gate areas where the seating will see 16-plus hours of daily use and must survive chemical cleaning regimes over an eight-year lifecycle. The frame uses die-cast aluminium alloy legs and arm supports with an electrostatic powder-spray finish. The seat and backrest are seamlessly moulded high-density polyurethane over an embedded steel skeleton, forming a single hygienic surface with no foam-to-frame gaps. This matters in humid and high-traffic environments — terminal cleaning crews can wipe down the full seat face without catching cloth on seams or crevices that accumulate bio-contamination. The LC138 sits above the LC056 and LC060 budget lines (larger seat profile, more considered ergonomic shaping) but below the premium lounge-specification LC098 in terms of overall finish level and cost. It is the workhorse mid-tier for international airports where procurement teams balance per-seat capital cost against service life and cleaning cost.
