HOK provided airport planning and design services alongside Aedas (architect of record) on Dubai International Concourse A, the world's first concourse purpose-built for A380 operations. Opened January 2013, the 11-level 645,000 sqm concourse serves 20 mppa across 20 A380-capable contact stands. HOK contributed passenger processing, gate planning and retail/F&B programme design.
