
Master beam seating system
Modular airport beam seating in five material variants, validated at high-throughput hubs worldwide including Dubai International and King Abdulaziz International.
The Master is IMAT's flagship modular beam-seating programme for airport passenger-waiting areas. Each unit is built around an independent steel-plate shell per seat, with aluminium-casting fixing components holding the beam together, so a single damaged seat can be swapped in place without disturbing its neighbours. The system scales from two-seat units upward and accepts back-to-back mounting for pier and island configurations.
Five sub-models address different operational briefs: Master Basic (30 mm polyurethane cushions, optimised for high-repetition gate rows), Master Soft (45 mm cushions for premium lounges or extended-dwell areas), Master Wood (12 mm beech-wood seat and back for warm-aesthetic terminals), Master Net (steel-mesh finish for maximum mechanical resistance in exposed or high-vandalism zones), and Master Open (gap between seat and backrest that channels debris rearward, chosen by Dubai International Airport for Concourse C Terminal 3). All variants carry fire-retardant integral polyurethane foam compliant with relevant aviation-environment standards, and metallic structural parts that are non-combustible.
Options include PRM-compliant seats, multiple armrest profiles (Vit, BCN), four base types (Compas, Arco, Fuego, wall-mounted), in-beam power boxes for device charging, HPL/aluminium/compact/wood table surfaces, and a full RAL-equivalent colour palette. The zero-maintenance design requires only routine cleaning with non-aggressive detergents — no lubrication, no proprietary tools. Replacement parts availability is described as continuous. Suitable for hub airports, regional terminals, pier expansions, and terminal refurbishments across high-ambient-temperature climates including the Gulf.
