The Atlas-standard service trolley is the backbone of in-flight catering and beverage service, used by approximately 80% of the world's commercial airline fleet. Both sizes are constructed from aluminium alloy, balancing structural rigidity with weight discipline — the full-size unit runs approximately 19 kg empty with a maximum gross load of around 113 kg. Four-corner swivel castors with individual braking allow controlled movement down narrow aisles under loaded conditions. As a dual-purpose meal/bar trolley, the unit serves both full meal distributions on long-haul routes and beverage-only rounds on short-haul sectors, reducing the SKU count an airline or caterer needs to stock. Kuipers also supplies used trolleys in serviceable condition, which is relevant for start-up carriers, charter operators, or catering companies managing cost-sensitive fleet buildouts.
