NAFFCO's foam concentrate and equipment range covers the full scope of aviation fire suppression — from the agent itself to the delivery infrastructure that gets it onto a burning fuel spill in seconds. The concentrate portfolio spans Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) at 3% and 6% proportioning ratios, Alcohol-Resistant AR-AFFF for polar-solvent and mixed-fuel hazards, and Film-Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) for higher burnback-resistance requirements such as large-diameter fuel storage adjacent to apron areas. NAFFCO's FILMFOAM NF3 product line is a C6 fluorosurfactant formulation designed specifically to deliver rapid knockdown on AVTUR and AVGAS — the hydrocarbon fuels that dominate aviation environments. Concentrates are available in 20-litre, 200-litre and 1,000-litre IBC packs, simplifying stock management for both airport fire stations and airside MRO facilities.

The equipment layer includes UL Listed, FM Approved inline proportioners in five capacity bands from 40 GPM up to 2,400 GPM, factory-calibrated at 1%, 2%, 3% or 6% — no field calibration required. Pre-piped balanced-pressure bladder tanks (36 to 6,000 US gallon range) store concentrate under system pressure with no external power needed; once the deluge or monitor valve opens, proportioning is automatic. Discharge hardware encompasses fixed and portable foam monitors, self-inducting and non-self-inducting branch pipes, foam chambers, rim-seal pourers, and low-expansion foam water sprinklers.

All concentrates and equipment carry FM and UL approval and are tested to EN and ICAO standards, making them directly applicable to airport fire station builds and upgrades governed by ICAO Annex 14 category requirements. In the GCC context — where aviation growth is driving new Category 9 and 10 capable stations at hub airports and smaller Category 6–7 facilities at regional aerodromes — a single-source supply chain for both agent and equipment simplifies procurement, type approval, and re-certification.

Best for

Use cases.

  • Fixed foam suppression systems in airport fire stations (ICAO Category 6–10 capable)
  • Airside fuel farm and hydrant pit fire protection using bladder tank proportioning systems
  • Hangar deluge and foam-water sprinkler systems protecting parked wide-body and narrow-body aircraft
  • Supplementary foam supply for ARFF vehicles operating alongside fixed infrastructure at hub airports
  • MRO facility foam systems protecting fuel servicing bays and engine test cells
  • Remote aerodrome fire stations requiring self-contained proportioning with no reliance on external power
