The TUG Alpha 1 is the smallest of Textron's conventional (towbar) pushback tractors and the entry point of the line's full lithium-electric programme. Powered by Samsung-lithium battery technology with opportunity-charge capability, the Alpha 1 delivers extended single-shift runtime against the demands of dense narrow-body apron work. The unique centre-drive layout improves manoeuvrability in tight gate envelopes — a frequent operational pain at DXB Terminal 2 and DOH HIA secondary stands. Remote diagnostics and Smart Sense anti-collision telematics ship standard, easing GCC ground-handler audits.
