AMHS Aeronautical Message Handling System
ICAO-compliant ATS message handling — AFTN/AMHS gateway, X.400 backbone, FANS-1/A and ATN/IPS ready.
Thales AMHS is the message-handling backbone that lets civil aviation authorities exchange flight plans, NOTAMs, meteorological reports and ATS coordination messages between FIRs. Built on ICAO Doc 9880 X.400 ATS Message Handling Service profiles, it acts as both AFTN gateway and full-AMHS server, supports FANS-1/A datalink, and is migration-ready for ATN/IPS. Designed for state-level CAA deployment with hot-standby clustering, geographic redundancy and full audit-trail logging. Underpins ATS messaging interoperability across EUROCONTROL's PENS network and equivalent regional programmes in the Middle East.
