Slab Lifting (Concrete Slab Re-levelling)
Drill, inject expanding geopolymer, and laser-lift sunken runway slabs back to level in minutes.
URETEK Slab Lifting injects expansive geopolymer resin through a series of small holes drilled through a concrete slab into the underlying soil, undersealing it, filling voids and accurately lifting and realigning sunken slabs resting directly on the ground. The lift is monitored with laser measurements for precision, and because the geopolymer sets fast the treated section can be recommissioned within minutes of completion. Applications range from highways and railways to airport runways, taxiways and hangar floors.
Technical specifications.
| Injected geopolymer reaches almost full strength in less than 15 minutes | |
| Lift accuracy controlled by real-time laser monitoring | |
| Small drilled access holes through the slab; no excavation or slab replacement | |
| Geoplus geopolymer compressive strength up to 10,000 kPa under heavy load | |
| Treated sections out of operation for hours, not days | |
| Suitable for highways, railways and airport runways/taxiways/hangar floors |
Use cases.
- ›Re-levelling sunken runway and taxiway slabs
- ›Lifting and re-supporting hangar / industrial floor slabs
