The Altitude Beam is a tandem beam seating system built on an extruded anodised aluminium structural spine with die-cast aluminium supports — the same load-bearing logic used across aviation and transport infrastructure globally. Seat and backrest pans are metal, with finish options spanning upholstered fabric, polyurethane, timber, and bare metal, giving specifiers control over both aesthetics and lifecycle maintenance cost. The system is configured in 1- to 4-seat modules that can extend into long linear runs — the format standard across gate lounges, boarding areas, and concourse waiting zones. Back-to-back and angled lounge arrangements are also supported, allowing a single product family to address departure hold rooms, arrivals halls, and landside transit corridors within the same terminal. Buyers choose the Altitude Beam over softer lounge alternatives where passenger density and operational discipline matter most: the beam form constrains dwell-time sprawl, discourages misuse, and allows cleaning crews to work underneath without lifting furniture.
