MSA Safety, founded 1914 in Pittsburgh, is a global leader in respiratory protection. Its M1 SCBA is one of the most widely deployed self-contained breathing apparatus in aviation firefighting, rated to EN 137 Type 2 (high-heat) and NFPA 1981. MSA also supplies the G1 SCBA (NFPA-market), Gallet F1XF aluminised helmets, LUNAR thermal imaging camera and FireHawk M7 Saudi-spec variants. MSA maintains a Middle East hub in Dubai with factory-authorised hydrostatic testing, cylinder requalification and firmware support for all GCC civil defence fleets.
