AAR's engineering staff support the airframe MRO network with all-level checks, structural inspections, aging-aircraft inspections, corrosion prevention, structural and composite repairs, and engineering design + certification for aircraft modifications. The team incorporates Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) — and handles product integration of interiors, structures and electrical systems across narrowbody and widebody airframes. The capability sits under AAR's #1 independent airframe maintenance position in North America and is delivered from the Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Miami, Lake City, Greensboro and Rockford hangars.
