ADB SAFEGATE CORTEX ALCMS / Airfield Management — FAA L-890 lighting control & monitoring
FAA L-890 modular ALCMS — control of stop-bars, runway-guard lights, LAHSO and full SMGCS surface guidance.
CORTEX is ADB SAFEGATE's modular and scalable ALCMS platform — designed to grow with airport requirements from regional fields to the world's largest international hubs. Three configuration packages cover the full size spectrum, all delivering FAA L-890 (AC 150/5345-56) ETL-certified control and monitoring of airfield lighting circuits. The system can automatically control stop-bars and runway-guard lights as part of a Surface Movement Guidance & Control System (SMGCS), manage Land-and-Hold-Short (LAHSO) operations, and interface with constant-current regulators, generators, approach lighting and remote deicing stations. Companion offerings include ALCMS Elite (PC-distributed L-890 architecture) and ALCMS Custom (ICAO-style HMI), plus the A-RMS AirSide Remote Management System for secure remote tower access. ADB SAFEGATE has installed ATC and airfield systems at 260+ towers worldwide; in the GCC, the Abu Dhabi (AUH) regional-first A-SMGCS Level 4 deployment runs on this stack.
