PosiCharge SVS 100 Single-Vehicle Charger

The PosiCharge SVS 100 is the compact, single-port member of Ampure's eGSE charging family: up to 10 kW and 250 A from one outdoor-rated cabinet. The OEM positions it for electric airport ground support equipment that needs fast or opportunity charging where a multi-port system would be oversized — regional jet operations, GA and FBO airport operators, and non-hub maintenance and logistics stations.

Not every stand justifies a sequenced multi-vehicle system. Remote stands, small fleets and single-vehicle satellite locations still face the same charging-infrastructure question that follows any eGSE purchase — and the same fleet-variety problem. The SVS 100 spans a 24-80 V battery voltage range and carries the same Smart Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID) as the larger DVS and MVS systems, so different vehicles and batteries can share the one charger. Battery voltage and temperature sensors control the charging profile, and the charger captures the data required to analyse and manage individual and fleet battery status and usage.

Electrically, it draws a maximum of 15 A at 480 VAC or 12 A at 600 VAC three-phase — a light enough feed for satellite locations — at a 0.98 power factor and 91% efficiency, with a 20 A / 15 A maximum breaker rating. Output is up to 250 A with Euro and Burton connector and cable options. At 39.4 by 22 by 19.3 inches and 388 lb, it fits where larger fast chargers will not.

The OEM states the SVS 100 is outdoor-rated to withstand extreme environmental conditions; unlike the DVS and MVS datasheets, the published SVS 100 sheet does not state a numeric operating-temperature range, so GCC operators should confirm the heat rating for their site. Safety features include automatic start/stop, anti-arcing disconnect and auto thermal shutdown, with IGBT power electronics throughout.
