The Angloco Hose/Foam Carrier 3650 is a specialist airport logistics vehicle, not a primary attack appliance. Built on a MAN TGM 18.340 4x4 BB chassis with a 250 kW / 340 hp diesel engine at 18,000 kg GVW, it carries a 3,400-litre stainless steel foam tank and a 250 kg dry powder unit with two delivery outlets. A PTO-driven foam pump rated at 425 litre/min transfers concentrate directly into the tanks of first-attack tenders during or after incident operations, extending the effective agent life of the primary fleet without returning vehicles to a station for replenishment.

Hose logistics is the other primary function: four removable pull-out rear cabinets and trays accommodate 36 lengths of 30 m delivery hose, giving the incident commander sufficient delivery hose stock to establish extended ground lines from hydrant supplies or remote water sources. A 25 m electric winch and two swing-out rear ladders with extending platforms facilitate hose deployment in difficult terrain or elevated access scenarios.

This vehicle type is most relevant at large international airports where ICAO Annex 14 Category 8 or 9 requirements mandate multiple primary tenders carrying substantial agent volumes — the foam carrier ensures those vehicles are never agent-limited during a prolonged major incident. The 8.5 m eight-lamp floodlighting mast enables autonomous night operations and scene illumination. The six-person crew cab with SCBA brackets for four rear crew allows this vehicle to carry an additional tactical team. For Gulf region operators maintaining large fleets at mega-hubs, the stainless steel foam tank protects concentrate quality in high-temperature storage conditions and simplifies cleaning when transitioning between fluorinated and fluorine-free concentrates.
