SYNTHESYS EVO is Aviointeriors' mechanical business-class and premium-economy recliner seat, positioned for carriers that want genuine premium comfort without the weight, cost, and STC complexity of an electrically actuated lie-flat product. Its dual-market design — certified as business class on single-aisle operations and as premium economy on twin-aisle wide-body deployments — gives fleet planners a single seat specification that serves two revenue classes depending on the aircraft type and route. The seat architecture centres on a four-way adjustable headrest, which Aviointeriors describes as among the widest in the market for this seat class, providing lateral head support and the visual privacy that converts a recliner into a credible premium product rather than a decorated economy seat. Recline is generous by mechanical-seat standards, supported by a pneumatic or mechanical lumbar system; the aisle armrest lowers to ease passenger ingress and egress in high-density configurations. IFE integration comes in two documented variants: a factory-installed Thales IFE system, or a tablet-holder mount for BYOD streaming — the latter significantly reducing weight and installation complexity for carriers that have or are transitioning to app-based entertainment. Personal storage provisions include literature pockets and personal-item stowage designed to the depth of a transatlantic sector. SYNTHESYS EVO occupies a cost-effective position in a procurement shortlist: it avoids the MRO cost and mechanical complexity of electrical actuation while delivering the privacy-and-headrest differentiation that separates a genuine premium product from standard economy. For GCC carriers expanding their premium-economy cabin or introducing business class on regional narrowbody routes, it represents a lower per-seat capital cost with a shorter certification programme.
