The T137-V3 is the newest design of Charlatte America's best-selling T137 line of electric tow tractors, built at the group's Bluefield, Virginia plant under the FAYAT Group. It is a self-propelled, battery-powered support vehicle for towing baggage, freight, mail, carts, cargo dollies and pallet dollies. Standard drawbar capacity is 4,000 lb (1,814 kg) with the 3,320 lb battery fitted; a heavy-duty version with extra rear ballast and a high-torque motor/axle combination raises that to 4,500 lb. Top speed is 18 mph (29 km/h) empty.

The drivetrain is an 80 V AC system: a 40 hp (30 kW) ABM AC motor direct-coupled to the rear axle — eliminating the driveline as a maintenance item — managed by a Curtis 1238 AC MOSFET controller with CAN bus and serial communication. Battery capacity options run 500-625 Ah. The V3 update brought a new all-steel dash, more powerful hydraulic braking with four-wheel disc brakes and larger front calipers, a redesigned front axle with improved ground clearance, and hydraulic-accumulator power steering for quiet, smooth operation. Dimensions: 3,164 mm long with hitch extension, 1,320 mm wide, 1,765 mm high with cab (1,230 mm without); 117.1 in (2,975 mm) outside turning radius with an inching device for precise coupling; 150 mm ground clearance on leaf-spring suspension.

For GCC operators the T137-V3 sits in the workhorse slot of an electric ramp fleet: the 1-2 tonne-drawbar class that does the relentless bag-cart loops behind every turnaround. Its published engineering is conservative by design — proven axles, jig-built frame, direct-coupled AC drive — which is what sustains availability in high-frequency operations. Options include a complete cab assembly with heater/defroster, mirrors, wiper and vinyl doors, and a power-assisted master cylinder. Battery chemistry and charging arrangements are not published on the datasheet and should be specified at quotation for Gulf summer duty cycles; Charlatte America maintains spare-parts inventory with 98% of orders shipped within 24 hours.
