CIMC-TianDa A380 Upper-Deck Passenger Boarding Bridge

A380 U1 upper-deck bridge — first user was Paris-CDG.

CIMC-TianDa engineered a dedicated A380 upper-deck PBB to access door U1 on the A380 main-deck-plus-upper-deck boarding configuration. Typically deployed alongside a lower-deck PBB on the same stand to enable simultaneous parallel boarding of both decks. The extra-tall rotunda column and reinforced telescoping tunnels handle the 5.8 m cabin height required at U1, and the cab includes reinforced floor joints against the heavier passenger load of parallel A380 boarding.
