DroneSentry-X Mk2 is DroneShield's primary multi-mission system: a self-contained unit that detects, identifies, geo-locates, and electronically defeats drone threats from a single enclosure, without requiring separate sensor and effector hardware to be networked together. It is the product that bridges the dismounted (handheld) and permanent-fixed-site parts of the DroneShield range — deployable on a vehicle roof rack, a vessel deck, a mast, or an unmanned ground platform, and convertible to a semi-permanent site installation via the EFS Kit accessory. The detection side runs RFAI, DroneShield's software-defined radio AI engine, operating passively across the consumer and commercial ISM band space to identify drone models and extract bearing, range, and — where available — operator position via DroneLocator. The defeat side runs RFAI-ATK, the electronic countermeasure module that transmits across the same frequency space to disrupt drone control and navigation. Both functions operate simultaneously from the same hardware, which eliminates the latency and cue-to-fire delay inherent in architectures where detection and effector are separate units requiring handoff. The 46 kg system mass and 710 × 710 × 532 mm envelope are sized for commercial roof-rack mounts — a practical standard across military and security vehicle fleets. IP67 sealing and the -20°C to +55°C temperature band cover both cold-soak starts and sustained high-heat operation. C2 outputs to JSON, gRPC, and TAK (Cursor on Target), allowing integration with NATO-standard battle-management systems as well as commercial site-security platforms. For GCC users, the combination of vehicle mobility and dual detect-defeat in a single unit is relevant across airport perimeter patrols, convoy escort, and maritime-port protection where threat geometry changes faster than a fixed installation can track.
**Export and licensing:** Detect-and-Defeat configurations are dual-use — cross-border sales (including Argentina and wider LATAM) typically require government end-user documentation, export licence from the country of manufacture, and local spectrum/defeat authorisation. Detect-Only mode is the civil-airport path when mitigation authority sits with police or military. DroneShield is Australian (DASA export route, non-ITAR).
