Expeditionary Fixed Site (EFS) Kit

The Expeditionary Fixed Site Kit is not a standalone detection or defeat system — it is a purpose-designed accessories package that extends the operational envelope of the DroneSentry-X Mk2 by giving it a stable mast mount, onboard power, and a ruggedised tablet interface without requiring permanent infrastructure. The commercial insight behind the EFS Kit is that the DroneSentry-X Mk2's vehicle-mount design creates a hard boundary: on a vehicle it is excellent, but tactical requirements frequently call for a system to guard a static position — a fuel point, a checkpoint, a command element's overnight location — where no vehicle can remain continuously. The EFS Kit solves this by providing a tripod-mounted solution that a two-person team can set up from a carry case in under ten minutes, operate independently of mains power via the included battery solution, and then break down and repack equally fast as the mission evolves. Detection range extends to 3 km radius; the integrated electronic countermeasures of the Mk2 unit deliver disruption out to 1 km. The combined system weight — approximately 170 kg for Mk2, bracket, and tripod — means it requires a vehicle to transport but not to operate once emplaced. The ruggedised tablet running DroneSentry-C2 Tactical provides the operator interface in the field; TAK/Cursor-on-Target and JSON/gRPC outputs allow the emplaced sensor to feed into a broader battle-management picture even from a remote position without its own mains connection. The full IP67 rating across all components maintains the Mk2's environmental protection in the field. In practice the EFS Kit is the C-UAS equivalent of a reusable rapid-deployment kit: it turns a mobile effector into a persistent sentinel for the duration of a static phase, then folds back into transport for the next bound.
