Laboratory Equipment — Low-Power Supply Units (EAC series, up to 10 kVA)
Compact 400 Hz and 1,000 Hz low-power supply units for avionics test benches, development laboratories, and on-board rocketry system testing.
ElectroAir's laboratory equipment segment covers the small-format, precision end of its frequency converter range — units producing milliwatt-to-kilowatt scale 400 Hz or 1,000 Hz output from either DC or AC input, sized for the workbench rather than the apron. These EAC laboratory units serve the electronics and avionics development community: engineers designing, testing, and qualifying on-board systems that operate from aircraft power buses need a bench supply that accurately reproduces those buses — specifically 115 V 400 Hz or 36 V 400 Hz for aircraft avionics, or custom frequencies for rocketry and spacecraft applications. The EAC-0.8 is the illustrative compact unit: it accepts 28.5 V DC input and produces both 115 V and 36 V at 400 Hz from a 330×200×75 mm enclosure weighing 4.4 kg with IP65 protection — sized to sit on a test bench alongside other instruments. Output voltage and frequency are adjustable by potentiometer or panel buttons. ElectroAir's extremely stable frequency output — characteristic of its solid-state converter architecture — allows a single EAC unit to simultaneously supply multiple test workstations from one converter, rather than requiring one converter per bench position. Optional terminal block access to individual output phases supports test laboratories needing phase-by-phase signal monitoring or injection. The range is positioned for aerospace OEMs, defence electronics integrators, space programmes, and university aerospace engineering research facilities where the budget for a full-scale GPU is unnecessary but the need for stable, correctly specced aircraft bus power is real.
