The Flight Light L-810 LED is a low-intensity, omni-directional, steady-burning red obstruction light designed to mark structures that present a hazard to aircraft in the vicinity of an airport. Typical applications include buildings, communications towers, cranes, meteorological masts, chimneys, and intermediate lighting on taller structures that also carry medium-intensity flashing systems higher up. The fixture uses a machined aluminium body with stainless steel hardware, finished in red powder coat, and a UV-stabilised LEXAN polycarbonate lens rated IP67 for full ingress protection against dust and sustained immersion — important wherever condensation, monsoon rain, or maritime spray is a factor. LED operating life is rated at 70,000+ hours, meaning less than two maintenance interventions per decade on a typical obstruction installation. Electrical input accepts 100–277 VAC or 12–48 VDC, covering virtually every utility supply standard in the GCC and wider Middle East without a separate transformer. Standard intensity is 32.5 candelas at 615 nm red; a 100-candela option is available where a higher visibility range is required. Power draw at standard intensity is 4.2 W on AC (2.4 W DC), representing a 96 percent reduction versus equivalent incandescent units and directly reducing operating costs on structures that require continuous dusk-to-dawn burning.
