Heerim Architects & Planners was the design architect on the new Bahrain International Airport Passenger Terminal Building, inaugurated January 2021. The 210,000 sqm terminal has an initial 14 mppa capacity with a dhow-inspired roof form and Arabian architectural motifs. The project was delivered by a joint venture of Arabtec, Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), and Turkish contractor TAV, with Heerim leading architectural design.
