Lufthansa Technik's Hamburg engine workshop is one of GE Aviation's longest-standing CF6 authorised service centres, performing performance-restoration shop visits, hot-section refurbishments and on-condition module work on the CF6-80C2 (A330ceo, 747-400, 767, KC-10, MD-11) and CF6-80E1 (A330-200/-300) variants. The Hamburg facility houses test cells rated to CF6-80E1 take-off thrust and performs full module-level repairs, replacement of LPT and HPT modules, and condition-monitoring data feed into LHT's AVIATAR predictive platform. Typical shop-visit turnaround is 70-100 days from induction to test-cell pass.
