VIP & Special Mission — Head-of-State and Government Cabin Completion
Head-of-state and government VVIP cabin completion + ACJ / BBJ / 787 / A350 / A330 wide-body conversions — Hamburg / Frankfurt / Sofia / Malta.
Lufthansa Technik's VIP & Special Mission division is the global benchmark for head-of-state and ultra-high-net-worth cabin completion. The team has delivered more than 200 VIP completions across Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ319 / ACJ320 / ACJ330 / ACJ350), Boeing Business Jets (BBJ / BBJ2 / 747-8 / 787 BBJ) and bespoke wide-bodies. Capability is held under EASA Part-21J Design Organisation Approval — meaning LHT can design, engineer, certify and install entire cabin architectures in-house under its own STC authority. Sites: Hamburg-Finkenwerder for completions, Sofia for narrowbody refurbishment, Malta for in-service VIP modifications, plus partner Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen for Asia-Pacific clients. Hallmarks include the Aeroshark riblet skin programme, Patient Transport Unit (PTU) special-mission kits, executive office suites, master bedrooms, conference / dining rooms and integrated medevac / surveillance variants.
