MHI-TES Long PBB
Extended-length PBB for remote contact stands.
The Long PBB variant is MHI-TES's answer to airports that want to convert distant remote stands into contact stands without building extensive new pier. Delivered first to Miyazaki Airport (2 units), the bridge extends significantly beyond the typical 36 m footprint while maintaining the auto-levelling and load behaviour of the standard product. Typical deployments pair the Long PBB with a short fixed walkway and a reinforced rotunda column to handle the extended lever-arm loads.
