The aircraft is pulled through by an electric tug while stationary overhead traverses flush off snow and ice (Type I de-ice fluid and water), then apply Type II anti-icing fluid on exit per SAE regulations. A de-icing cycle is completed in just a few minutes regardless of weather, and a full exterior wash takes about 20 minutes.
