Fire Pump Products (split-case / end-suction)
UL Listed and FM Approved horizontal split-case and end-suction centrifugal fire pumps — factory-tested to NFPA 20 for airport and airside fire suppression infrastructure.
NAFFCO's certified fire pump range covers the two centrifugal configurations most commonly specified for aviation fire protection: horizontal split-case and horizontal end-suction. Both types leave the factory tested to the performance and acceptance criteria of NFPA 20, UL 448, and FM 1319 — the trio of standards that governs fire pump sets in UL- and FM-governed markets and which are widely adopted across the GCC as the basis for civil-aviation authority approvals.
The NF-S Series horizontal split-case pumps serve the higher end of the demand curve. The axially-split casing design is the key maintenance advantage: the entire rotor assembly — impeller, shaft, and bearings — can be withdrawn without disconnecting the suction or discharge pipework, reducing downtime in a fire station environment where pump availability is non-negotiable. Double-volute geometry on higher-duty models minimises radial shaft loads, extending bearing life in continuous-run and weekly test conditions. Rated capacity covers 500 to 1,500 US GPM at 3,550 RPM and 750 to 1,500 US GPM at 2,900 RPM, with electric motor or diesel engine driver options. The NF-E Series end-suction pumps address lower-flow applications up to 750 US GPM — suitable for smaller hangar deluge sets, foam-water sprinkler rings, and single-riser jockey-pump duty; rated pressure range runs from 50 to 139 PSI depending on model.
Both series hold UL, FM, and LPCB approval, broadening specification eligibility across UK Civil Aviation Authority-governed projects (e.g. UK-based MROs and executive-aviation facilities) as well as US FAA-governed installations. NAFFCO also supplies complete containerised pump-house packages built to NFPA 20 — a common requirement for remote GCC apron-expansion projects where site civil infrastructure is temporary or modular.
