American CAT-10 benchmark with Snozzle HRET and TAK-4 suspension.
The Striker 8×8 is Oshkosh's flagship ARFF, carrying 4,500 US gal (17,000 L) water, 630 US gal (2,385 L) foam and 500 lb (227 kg) dry chem. The Scania V8 770 hp engine drives all eight independently-suspended TAK-4 wheels, and a Pratt & Miller Hercules P-600 pump feeds the roof turret (1,200 gpm / 4,500 L/min) and the optional 65 ft Snozzle HRET boom with piercing tip.
