Oshkosh Striker Volterra Hybrid
World's first hybrid ARFF — zero-emission at scene.
Unveiled at Rescue 2022, the Striker Volterra is a parallel-hybrid 6×6 ARFF combining a Scania diesel with an integrated electric motor. The vehicle operates silently and with zero tailpipe emission during pump-and-roll response of up to 3 km, then switches to hybrid for sustained operations. Capacity: 3,000 US gal water, 420 gal foam, 500 lb dry chem; Snozzle HRET 50 ft optional.
