First series-production battery-electric ARFF.
The PANTHER Electric (based on Rosenbauer's RT platform) is the world's first battery-electric airport crash tender with full CAT-9 capability. A 132 kWh battery pair drives permanent-magnet synchronous motors delivering 490 kW continuous, with range-extender diesel generator for unlimited pumping operations. It carries 10,000 L water, 1,200 L foam and the RM45C roof turret at 4,500 L/min, and hits 0–80 km/h in 24 s.
