ShinMaywa Industries — PAXWAY
Intelligent PAXWAY AI Full-Automatic Docking PBB
World-first remote-operated PBB, no aircraft-type selection.
Intelligent PAXWAY uses AI-driven image recognition to identify the aircraft door and dock the bridge at a single button press. At Singapore Changi, ShinMaywa achieved the world's first remote-operated autonomous PBB that did not require the operator to pre-select an aircraft type — the system recognises the airframe itself. Operational results reported at Osaka-Itami (first commercial installation) showed dock times consistently under 90 seconds with zero envelope incidents in the reporting window. Targeted at high-wage markets where single-operator remote control over multiple stands is attractive.
