Intelligent PAXWAY AI Full-Automatic Docking PBB

World-first remote-operated PBB, no aircraft-type selection.

Intelligent PAXWAY uses AI-driven image recognition to identify the aircraft door and dock the bridge at a single button press. At Singapore Changi, ShinMaywa achieved the world's first remote-operated autonomous PBB that did not require the operator to pre-select an aircraft type — the system recognises the airframe itself. The underlying Full-Automatic Docking System has been in commercial service at Osaka International (Itami) Airport since June 2022. Targeted at high-wage markets where single-operator remote control over multiple stands is attractive.
