Rohde & Schwarz is a 90-year-old German test & measurement firm whose security business produces the QPS201 and QPS walk-by body scanners. Both use passive-comparable active millimetre-wave imaging to detect concealed threats, meet ECAC and EU 2015/1998 checkpoint requirements and support automatic threat recognition without revealing body detail. The QPS family is deployed at more than 100 airports globally including several European Union hubs, and is a frequent alternative to L3Harris ProVision in GCC passenger checkpoint refresh tenders.
