Aerostrat Aerros is a purpose-built long-range heavy maintenance planning platform developed for airlines, MROs, and cargo operators managing complex base-maintenance programmes. Acquired by AAR Corp in 2025 and now integrated within the Trax software family, Aerros addresses the operational burden of scheduling hundreds of maintenance requirements across a fleet over its lifetime — tasks that are prohibitively complex to manage in spreadsheets or general-purpose tools.

Aerros automates the full cycle from check induction through production planning. Its drag-and-drop interface automatically resolves all organisational constraints — track availability, seasonal demand, regulatory deadlines, and aircraft allocation — to produce an operationally ready base-maintenance schedule. Three scheduling engines cover different use cases: a Full Auto-Scheduler for one-click annual plans, a standard Auto-Scheduler for fleet- or requirement-specific runs, and a Special Deadlines scheduler for phased compliance requirements. Labour planning tools allow planners to model manpower needs by skill type, day, and shift, flagging shortfalls before they hit the hangar floor.

Because Aerros operates independently of any single ERP, it is equally relevant to operators running Trax, AMOS, OASES, or legacy systems — a significant differentiator in a mixed-fleet MRO environment. For Gulf-region operators managing rapid fleet growth and tight hangar-slot availability, the ability to model unlimited what-if scenarios and compare cost/yield trade-offs before committing to a maintenance schedule is directly commercially valuable. Aerros currently supports over 5,000 aircraft globally and is deployed by airlines, third-party MROs, and cargo carriers.

Use cases.

  • Long-range heavy maintenance scheduling for airline fleets with complex phased requirements
  • MRO production planning — aligning induction slots with hangar capacity and labour availability
  • Aircraft allocation management for seasonal demand and line-of-maintenance blocking
  • What-if scenario modelling for fleet growth, check deferrals, and vendor changes
  • Integration alongside Trax eMRO or other ERP systems for planning-to-execution handoff
  • Cargo carrier maintenance programme management across mixed aircraft types
