The Armagard Outdoor Digital Signage Totem range (PDS-TO-P series) is a family of floor-standing, powder-coated mild steel columns designed to house commercial LCD panels in unshielded outdoor positions. Available in 32", 47", 55", and 70–75" configurations, each unit is sealed to NEMA 4 and bolted to the substrate for structural security. Internal climate management — automatic heating modules and air filtration — maintains the display's operating envelope across ambient temperature extremes. The lower compartment provides locked, tamper-resistant housing for media players, cabling, and power distribution.
The totem format is the standard choice wherever a free-standing information or wayfinding point must survive wind, rain, direct sun, and vehicle proximity without wall-attachment. In airport contexts that includes landside kerb-front drop-off zones, multi-storey car park exits, outdoor terminal frontages, and ground transport plazas. The 32" PDS-32-TO-P has been documented in deployment at Gatwick Airport for outdoor landside signage. Each model uses VESA-compatible mounting to accept screens from major commercial display manufacturers, keeping procurement options open.
