Waterproof LCD Enclosure

The Armagard Waterproof LCD Enclosure (SDS18 series) is a food-grade 316 stainless-steel housing rated to NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X, designed for environments where IP54 or NEMA 4 mild-steel units are insufficient because of direct chemical or high-pressure water contact. Where standard steel enclosures tolerate rain and occasional cleaning, the SDS18 is engineered for daily jet-washdown conditions at pressures typical of industrial hose-down, including protection against light detergents and cleaning compounds.

The enclosure accommodates commercial LCD displays from 24" to 86". Internal climate components — filter fans, a display air curtain, integrated heaters, and a controller board — maintain a stable operating environment across temperature extremes and condensation cycles. The stainless exterior resists surface corrosion, making it suitable for salt-air coastal environments as well as chemical-exposure zones. Wall or stand mounting options and VESA compatibility allow retrofit onto existing cabling routes.

In aviation and airport infrastructure, the primary deployment cases are catering and in-flight kitchen facilities, ground-floor baggage-handling zones where periodic floor-washing occurs, MRO workshops, aircraft cleaning bays, and outdoor covered ramp areas in humid equatorial or coastal climates.
