The Armagard TV Screen Protector (PSS series) is a shallow, wall-mounted mild-steel cage that fits over an already-installed flat-panel display, providing mechanical protection without relocating or re-cabling the screen. The defining feature is its polycarbonate window, rated up to 20 times stronger than equivalent-thickness glass, which defeats direct impacts from thrown objects, fists, and blunt instruments while maintaining an optically clear viewing surface. An angled top rail prevents objects from being balanced or stacked on the unit. Tamper-resistant locks on the front frame deter casual removal. Built-in air vents maintain airflow across the panel to prevent thermal build-up.

The PSS series covers displays from 24" to 86" and accepts both landscape and portrait orientations, with VESA-universal rear fixing. The enclosure is rated NEMA 1 — an indoor, dry-environment classification — making it appropriate for enclosed public spaces rather than outdoor or wet locations. Material is powder-coated mild steel with CE and RoHS certification.

In airport and aviation contexts the product addresses the vandalism and accidental-damage risk that standard commercial displays face in high-throughput spaces: airport terminal concourses, landside retail and food-and-beverage areas, crew rest rooms, staff corridors, and ground handler welfare facilities. The shallow profile (5.31" deep on the 43" model) allows installation in areas where a full enclosure would intrude on circulation space, and the over-mounting approach means screens already fitted to walls can be retrofitted without structural work. NEMA 1 positioning makes it unsuitable for airside or ramp-exposed locations.
