Absolute V-Bank HEPA Filter

The Absolute V is Camfil's V-bank configuration HEPA filter family for installations requiring certified sub-micron particulate removal at high volumetric airflow. Microfine glass media is formed into individual mini-pleat packs and assembled in a V-bank geometry, multiplying the effective filtration area relative to a single flat-face box HEPA of the same housing footprint. The result is high airflow capacity — up to 2,400 cfm — at low initial pressure drop, which reduces fan energy and extends time to terminal pressure.

The Absolute VG variant is certified to a minimum efficiency of 99.99% at 0.3 µm; the Filtra 2000 variant spans 95% to 99.999% for applications where a graded efficiency approach reduces unnecessary capital cost. Both are rated 5-Star per the Energy Cost Index. Maximum continuous operating temperature is 175°F (79°C). Halogen-free construction (VDI 6022 compliant) ensures compatibility with buildings where halogenated compounds are restricted, including pharmaceutical-adjacent spaces.

In aviation, the Absolute V addresses the highest-tier HVAC cleanliness requirements: air traffic control towers (where a single contamination event could affect operational readiness), avionics and IFE component handling areas, airline operations centres, and MRO precision-part assembly rooms.
