Megalam Cleanroom Panel HEPA/ULPA Filter
Mini-pleat HEPA/ULPA ceiling panel filter for cleanroom modules, rated from 95% to 99.99995% efficiency at MPPS.
The Megalam is a mini-pleat, box-type panel filter designed for direct installation into cleanroom ceiling modules, terminal housing diffusers, and standard filter housings. Microfine glass media is pleated around thermoplastic resin separators — eliminating the aluminium or paper corrugated separators of legacy deep-pleat designs — resulting in uniform airflow distribution across the full face area and a compact pack depth suited to low-ceiling cleanroom plenums.
Efficiency spans the full HEPA-to-ULPA range: from 95% at 0.3 µm up to 99.99995% at the most penetrating particle size (MPPS), making a single product family applicable to ISO Class 5 through ISO Class 1 environments depending on the grade selected. Pack depths of 53 mm, 70 mm, and 100 mm accommodate different ceiling module standards. The Megalam ES variant upgrades to heavy-duty anodized aluminium framing for longer structural life, improved resistance to oil-aerosol loading (relevant in engine test cells and MRO hangars), and bar-coded labels that embed individual factory-scan test results for installation traceability.
In aviation MRO facilities, avionics assembly areas, and precision parts manufacturing, cleanroom air quality directly influences product quality and regulatory compliance. The Megalam's compatibility with knife-edge, gel-channel, and gasket seal types means it retrofits into most existing cleanroom ceiling grids without frame replacement. For GCC operators running pressurised cleanrooms in hot ambient conditions, the all-synthetic construction avoids hygroscopic degradation issues that affect traditional glass-separator filters in high-humidity cooling transitions.
