DroneGun Mk4
A 3.2 kg handheld RF jammer that disrupts consumer and commercial drone control, navigation, and video links in under three seconds.
DroneGun Mk4 is DroneShield's smallest and lightest handheld counter-UAS effector, engineered to give a single operator the ability to defeat drone threats without kinetic force and without specialist training. At 3.2 kg including battery — roughly the weight of a large service pistol with a spare magazine — it represents a meaningful reduction over earlier DroneGun generations and removes the bipod or two-hand hold previously required for prolonged use. Activation to disruption takes less than three seconds from power-on, which is the critical window in a threat scenario. The system simultaneously disrupts drone command-and-control links, GNSS navigation, and video downlinks across the full range of ISM frequencies used by consumer and commercial multirotor platforms — preventing both the drone from receiving new commands and the operator from seeing what the drone sees. On GNSS disruption, the drone typically initiates a controlled hover or return-to-home sequence, rather than an uncontrolled crash, reducing collateral risk. The IP67 rating and -20°C to +55°C operating envelope make it deployable across the full GCC climate range, from overnight desert cold to midday summer heat on a ramp. Battery runtime exceeds one hour per charge, with NATO-standard batteries enabling hot-swap without returning to a vehicle. Mk4 is positioned as the personal-issue or small-team effector within DroneShield's layered architecture: light enough to carry dismounted, functional enough to stand alone at low-density threat sites. Its counterpart in the range, the DroneGun Tactical, is heavier and longer-ranged; Mk4 trades range for carry weight.

Use cases.
- ›Dismounted patrol carry for force-protection teams at military bases and controlled airspace perimeters
- ›Single-operator quick-reaction at VIP protection or motorcade movement
- ›Airport ramp-security response where a vehicle-mounted system cannot reach in time
- ›Event security supplementing fixed detection assets with a mobile defeat capability
- ›Forward-edge personnel carry in environments where heavier effectors are not practical
