EchoShield ESR
Lightweight metamaterial ESA — first FCC civilian-airport certified radar.
EchoShield is a 4D electronically scanned radar under 10 kg using Echodyne's metamaterial antenna. It delivers beam agility rivalling much larger military radars and was the first non-federal radar granted FCC Part 90Y certification — the legal basis for civilian-airport use in the USA. It stares over a 120 x 80 degree field, detects and tracks hundreds of targets simultaneously, and is the primary radar in Anduril Lattice and Dedrone stacks. ITAR applies to the RF hardware, so GCC sales require US export licence; software is more flexible.
