FlightSafety Simulation & Visual Systems
Vertically integrated simulation platform — from Level D full flight simulators and the VITAL visual system to mixed reality trainers and AI-powered performance analytics.
FlightSafety's simulation and visual systems portfolio covers every layer of a modern aviation training infrastructure under one manufacturer: the FS1000 full flight simulator, the VITAL image-generation and display line, mixed reality flight trainers, and the MATRIX classroom-to-cockpit learning ecosystem. The FS1000 is a Level D-qualified full flight simulator built on a lightweight modular architecture that simplifies integration, maintenance, and reconfiguration across aircraft types — supporting commercial variants including the A320 family (CEO and NEO, P&W and CFM engine options), Boeing 737 MAX, A220, and A350, as well as military and government platforms. The VITAL visual system line underpins all of these: VITAL 1100 delivers field of view beyond 300° horizontal × 60–70° vertical at over 20 million pixels aggregate, with LCoS or LED projectors at HD to 4K and 60 or 120 Hz refresh. VITAL 1150 advances this to 8K-capable rendering at 120 Hz with enhanced cloud shading, NVG channel support, and distributed mission operations (DMO/LVC) networking — qualified to FAA 14 CFR Part 60 Level D and EASA standards. The proprietary CrewView glass-collimating mirror display eliminates the geometric distortions of film-based collimators while delivering the widest virtual image available. Complementing the high-fidelity FFS tier are the Mixed Reality Flight trainers (Pro with motion base and force-feedback, Standard, and Lite portable) and the MATRIX interactive learning system (DeskTop Simulator, Graphical Flight-deck Simulator, and FlightSmart AI performance-analytics). This end-to-end stack allows airlines and training organisations to run ab-initio through recurrent and type-rating programmes on a consistent data and software baseline. For GCC and wider Middle East operators — where new-entrant carriers, rapidly expanding MRO academies, and defence training programmes share the same infrastructure procurement cycle — a single OEM relationship covering simulation hardware, visuals, debriefing, and analytics reduces integration risk and support complexity across the full training operation.
