TrueChoice Commercial Services
A modular suite of OEM engine service contracts covering the full lifecycle from per-flight-hour risk transfer to bespoke overhaul workscopes.
TrueChoice Commercial Services is GE Aerospace's primary commercial engine sustainment programme, designed so operators, lessors, and third-party MROs can select the exact level of financial risk transfer and maintenance coverage their fleet requires. The suite is structured around four distinct tracks. TrueChoice Flight Hour converts engine maintenance into a predictable dollar-per-engine-flight-hour or per-cycle charge that covers scheduled and unscheduled removals, materials, airworthiness directive incorporation, FOD events, spare engine availability, remote diagnostics, and return-condition exposure — transferring cost and time-on-wing risk to GE. TrueChoice Overhaul offers time-and-material, not-to-exceed, and firm-fixed-price workscope options calibrated to the operator's ownership horizon, economic priorities, and specific engine condition. TrueChoice Material provides access to new and used OEM parts, component repairs, and technology upgrades intended to protect residual value across the engine's life. TrueChoice Transitions addresses end-of-ownership scenarios through green-time leases, engine exchanges, material buy-back, and shortened builds that maximise used-serviceable content. GE delivers overhauls across six owned facilities — in Kansas, Indiana, Scotland, Wales, Brazil, and Taiwan — covering LEAP-1A/B, GEnx, CFM56-5B/7B, GE90, CF34, CF6, and GP7200 families, plus five component repair centres and a network of joint-venture alliance shops. For GCC operators running Boeing 777 (GE90/GE9X), 787 (GEnx), A320neo/737 MAX (LEAP), or regional jets (CF34), TrueChoice offers a single-OEM interface across the entire maintenance cycle, which simplifies supply chain management and preserves access to genuine life-limited-part traceability.
